André (アンドレ, Andore) is a guest character in Part 2 Episode 101, only in part modeled after André Grandier from the manga The Rose of Versailles.
Character history[]
André was a Versailles's royal guard and Oscar's boyfriend. Their eternal love ended fruitless due, sometime before the onset of the French Revolution, he was cursed by Queen Marie Antoinette's jealous rage to turn into stone.
Still loyal to their empress just like him, Oscar cannot betray her memory breaking her curse and return him to a normal state. She turned herself completely naked into a stone at the isolated shores of Normandy on night, thanks to her friend Lupin III. Their love is eternal, and nobody can interrupt it.
